As a companion to Union
Station and the Post Office, the Judiciary Office Building forms a gateway
to Capital Hill. The building relates to each of the three avenues that
participate in main entrance is in Columbus Circle, the secondary entrance
is placed in the landscape, a terminus at the end of F Street and serving
Second Street. The tertiary entrance is at Second Vermont granite is
proposed with clear insulating glass. The quality and color of this
stone entrance on Columbus Circle to the secondary entrance on Second
Street. Along it are placed the main elevator lobbies and the parking
elevator lobbies. The floors are of marble and terrazzo. There is also
a seven-story sky-lighted space.
