A major corporation
has elected to upgrade the audio/visual capabilities of their boardroom
suite. Growing interconnections with their subsidiaries around the world
has led to the need for enhanced video conferencing facilities. In addition
to providing the directors with improved facilities and services, the
corporation also wished to express a more pronounced corporate identity
and in this key element of their corporate headquaters building.
The suite comprises
a boardroom, with seating for approximately 15 people, waiting and break-out
areas, and a central audio/visual control room. The underlying focus
in the design of all the spaces and components was integration of the
technological capabilities, reliability, and "ease of use"
for the board and committee meeting presenters.
Selected features in
the new suite include:
- Fully intergrated
controls located at lecterns in all three rooms
- Real screen projection
at the boardroom
- Integrated video conference
system in two rooms
- Ceiling-mounted phone
conference system
