While paying homage to Nashville's heritage of Greek Revival architecture with its elegant portico, colonnade entry, and angled copper roof, this 31-story headquarters building is designed with an airy U-shaped plan. Its richly appointed honed-marble lobby leads to a spacious plaza with flowering trees which provides a quiet escape from Nashville's congested narrow streets. A 100 car underground garage and retail spaces further enhance a neighborhood that includes William Strickland's 1849 example of Egyptian Revival architecture, the Downtown Presbyterian Church.
